I was browsing through the gateverse remix, and found that eleveninches had remixed this, and found the link to "I Cannot Feel the Sun". Of course I had read them both, but so far apart that I didn't remember they belonged together. They are so awesome together!

I just love this story, I think you capture Rodney so well, his franticness and yet, he's not a gibbering idiot. And John, suffering in stoic silence. Idiot.

Great story, sad with lots of elements of hope. And love, and sex, of course. ;-)

Love the way John and Rodney finally speak of Atlantis at the end and Rodney glows with relief. I only hope the remix is half as good!
