Make sure you go read the
crack.
So, while I've been dragging my feet on my comp because I was afraid Hellwarth was going to be on sabatical next semester, my supervisor at work asked her about it and found out she really was going on sabatical. However, she did recomend another professor to be my director, who I only had once before, but I got fairly decent grades in her class. It wasn't my best performance, but it wasn't my worst either. So, by tomorrow, I might actually have a comp director!!!
And my superivisor is made of awesome for finding this out for me. *huggles her* How many bosses are seriously this awesome that they will actually help you find a director for your comp? Here I had only asked her if she knew of any literature I could look into because I had her for a women's studies class once.
So tomorrow after English I'm going to find out when her office hours are and then go to her as soon as possible.
On the other hand, comping=scary. Especially since for me comping=definitely graduating early. At the very least, this gives me an excuse to read Mists of Avalon again. And I'm still wondering what other text I should use, but I'll get to talk to my director which I may have by Wednesday about that.
