I was watching from the second row of the theatre during one of our tech runs this week when it hit me: this is my job. This is actually it. I watch people who are pretending to be other people tell stories and I make sure that they are telling these stories as clearly as they could so when the audience finally sees them, the stories would make sense and, if we're lucky, maybe even touch a heart or two. This is what I do. For a living. How incredible is that?
I've been doing this for quite a while now and I still can't get over that fact.
And I hope I never do. :-)
