AN : Actually, this is the FIRST fic I made a months ago, before I made ‘We Are Shining Stars’ or ‘The Ghost’ but I don’t post it in LJ. I felt hesitant at first to post this, so I keep it in my laptop. But a few days ago when I search randomly in my harddisk, I remembered again about this fic and decided to post it as YAMA-CHAN 20th birthday. I have edited in some parts and make this as a chapter fic (before it’s a very very loooonng oneshot). So, this is my gift for our cute and chibi Yamada Ryosuke. Hope all of you enjoy it ^_^
CHAPTER 1
***Miura's Flashback, 20 years ago***
The Yamada family that consists of four people is currently living in a cheap apartment that isn’t too fancy. At that time Miura was 4 years old, and his mother a few months ago give him a younger brother who was very cute and handsome. That night he was in his brother’s room. He looked at Ryosuke’s baby face that had fallen asleep and was happy because now he had someone to be playing together.
His father, Yamada Taro and his mother Yamada Erika was in the living room talking about something that seems very important because they were say to Miura to get in the room and didn’t come to listens their conversation. Miura didn’t quite understand about it, so he just waited in Ryosuke’s room. But he was surprised because his parent hadn’t completed their conversation until 10 pm and Miura already very sleepy and he wanted to sleep accompanied by his mother.
Suddenly Miura heard his father shout, "YOU WANT AGAINST ME!?" his father shouted successfully make Miura shocked and lost his sleepily. He was so scared, because his father never yelled like that. He heard his mother crying then he was out from the room.
"Kaa-chan, too-chan what's wrong?" He asked confused. Immediately his mother embraced him she sees Miura. His father is really angry and throws some furniture from the table and the sound of the breakable objects successfully make baby Ryosuke wake up and crying. His mother went straight to Ryosuke’s room and tried to calm him. Miura was afraid to see his father angry like that, and he unconsciously cried in silent.
"Erika, I know you don’t want to bring our children to meet with his grandparents because I am still far away from your parent’s standard isn’t it? But our children are their grandchildren. Miura and Ryosuke need to know them too." His father said and his mother came out, carrying a crying baby Ryosuke.
"I don’t think like that Taro, I think the time isn’t right for now." his mother said while sobbing. His father looks angry again and added, "Not in the right time you say!? Because you think I am still a poor man!?" He added with angry faces.
Actually Yamada Erika and Yamada Taro are very different. Erika was born on rich and noble family, while her husband just from an ordinary family. They both first met at university, and that's intertwined love between them, although there's a huge difference. Erika and Taro eventually decided to get married after graduation, but Erika’s parent didn’t agree because background of her partner, and finally they chose to elope.
"You'd better go back to your parents, you can think clearly again at your parent’s house. I will bring Ryosuke and Miura, and go for a while." Taro added, taking Ryosuke from mother's arms and pulled Miura hand away. "Ikou, Miura." Add his father. Miura couldn’t refuse, and he stared at his mother eyes that already wet with tears.
"Don’t! Don’t separate me from them!" Cried her mother, crying, but she couldn’t do anything about it, His father had taken Ryosuke and Miura from the house.
Their father brought Ryosuke and Miura in the car and put baby Ryosuke in Miura’s lap. Ryosuke still crying, and his brother, too, cried silently. What exactly happens with kaa-chan and too-chan? Miura is thinking hardly. His father continued to drive his car, and Miura don’t know how long the car will stop.
After a very long time for Miura their car finally stopped at a large building that looks old but is still looks neglected. Miura confused what this place, and he glanced at Ryosuke who had fallen asleep, exhausted from crying. His father was cradling Miura and Ryosuke to go down from the car. He knocked on the door of the building for a while and came out a beautiful middle-aged woman and has a face that is so friendly and kind.
"Konbanwa. May I help you sir?" The woman said when opening the door as she watched his father who carried Miura and Ryosuke. "I want to leave my kids for a while at this orphanage." His father replied. Miura was confused by what is meant by the orphanage.
That woman sighed, "You'd better go first and explain to us and it’s too cold for your child beause the weather is very cold outside." The woman said. His father was brought Miura and Ryosuke entered that building. While his dad was talking to that woman, another woman take care Miura and Ryosuke, bring them into the room and lull Ryosuke there. That woman was trying to comfort Miura that was still crying silently.
"Daijobu Miura-kun, you just relax." She said as she stroked his hair. After what seemed a long time for Miura, Yamada Taro eventually came up with the first woman who opened the door earlier. Miura realized that his father already crying earlier because his eyes are red.
"Miura, you and Ryosuke must stay here for a while. Otou-chan would go to change the fate for all of us so that you two can meet your grandparents. Take care of your brother as well. I promise you after I become a success person, I will be back to pick you up and we will be able to live together again with your mother." Taro said, wiping tears from Miura’s eyes.
"Otou-chan, where are you going? Don’t leave us here." Miura whined, crying again.
"Don'tt cry, son. You must smile. With a smile you will be able to face the world. Follow all the orphanage staff words when you are here. Be the obedient kid ne~." His father said, while ruffle Miura’s hair. Then his father gives the last bow to the woman in the orphanage. Miura had wanted to pursue his father, but the woman earlier stops him and trying to comfort him. Then since that night Miura and Ryosuke lived in that orphanage.

It's been 5 years since that night, this time Ryosuke was 5 years old and had entered the school and Miura was 9 years old. Miura continued to hope that his father or mother would pick them up. Unfortunately Ryosuke grow into a quiet boy, and he rarely smiles, even he is very difficult to trust other people.
Miura was very sad to saw his younger brother like that, he was aware that Ryosuke became a silent boy like that because in school Ryosuke always teased by his friends because he had no father and mother.
"Daijobu, Ryo-chan. We have a father and mother but this time they are busy to make our lives better. I'm sure they'll pick us up and we can live together again." Miura said trying to cheer Ryosuke when he teased by his friends.
"Now smile." Miura adds.
"Hai! onii-chan. "Ryosuke replied softly, wiping his tears, but he was not smiling. Miura feel sad to see his brother like that. He wanted to see his brother smiling with delight.
