AN : Actually, this is the FIRST fic I made a months ago, before I made ‘We Are Shining Stars’ or ‘The Ghost’ but I don’t post it in LJ. I felt hesitant at first to post this, so I keep it in my laptop. But a few days ago when I search randomly in my harddisk, I remembered again about this fic and decided to post it as YAMA-CHAN 20th birthday. I have edited in some parts and make this as a chapter fic (before it’s a very very loooonng oneshot). So, this is my gift for our cute and chibi Yamada Ryosuke. Hope all of you enjoy it ^_^
CHAPTER 5
Ryosuke wake up the next morning in confused, because he fell asleep on the couch. He sees Yuto is still sleeping, while his brother seems that he has wake up because no one on the couch. He rushed to his brother’s room, and as he was expected, his brother is getting ready to leave for college.
"Nii-chan, may I come in?" Ask Ryosuke through the open door of his brother's room. "What do you want?" ask Miura coldly, make Ryosuke become more hurt than heard Miura’s cold tone by phone.
"I want to talk for a while." Ryosuke replied. Since there is no response from his brother, Ryosuke took that as consent and he enters into his brother room then sitting in a chair beside the study table. Ryosuke is seldom come into his brother’s room and how many times he was in Miura’s room, friendly aura that from Miura always emitted that room. But it looks like this time is the coldly aura that emitted that room, as same as its own. This is the first time Ryosuke sees his brother look like mad and angry, and it makes Ryosuke become scary to face his older brother.
"Actually what happened lately nii-chan? You seem to change lately. I even see your grades dropped drastically." Ryosuke said, starting the conversation. Actually yesterday Ryosuke had entered Miura’s room when he wasn’t there and saw his exam score is really dropped.
Hearing his brother confession make Miura angry. "So you had entered my room without my permission!? As a brother, you went too far Ryosuke!" Miura snapped, make Ryosuke is feeling hurt again. “But you never forbid me to go to your room before nii-chan." Ryosuke said patiently. His brother finished fixing his tie, and stared at Ryosuke with his sharp eyes.
"You've grown up Ryosuke. You must know that everyone have their own affairs and problem, and you should be old enough to understand that I've my own problem. Don’t interfere with my business. You should better take care of your career. Isn’t that the way that you take to find our father? But seems it doesn’t work. So once again I tell, don’t interfere in other people's business." Miura said coldly as he took his bag and walked towards the door.
"Wait Onii-chan!" Said Ryosuke, and Miura stopped, but still doesn’t faces his brother. "You told me not to interfere in other’s people business? But we are not strangers. We are family, nii-chan!" Said Ryosuke, but Miura ignored him, and go away again. "You really changed!" Shouted Ryosuke before his brother perfectly gone. Ryosuke sit up and ruffle his hair, frustrated, confused and annoyed by his brother’s attitude. Yuto who saw that incident from the outside, only sigh deeply.

Currently Ryosuke and Yuto have been in the car to go back to JUMP’s house. Ryosuke still in silent and Yuto actually couldn’t stand it if his friend is silent like that. But suddenly Ryosuke is talking.
"Yuto, I beg you not to tell what had happened to the others. I don’t want to make them worry." Ryosuke said. Yuto want to argue, but Ryosuke added again, "Remember Yuto, now we all are busy with the preparations of our concert, Yabu and Keito are busy in their college too and that is enough to make them tired, also don’t forget to mention about the case of our maniac fans. I just don’t want to add my problem to all of you."
Yuto just silent, he understands Ryosuke’s nature who doesn’t like other people's suffering because of him. So he just said yes, but in his hearts, he promises that if Ryosuke can’t hold it again, he would tell the others.
Finally they arrived at JUMP’s house. "Ohayo." Yuto and Ryosuke greeting together, when they arrived in the living room but they are surprised to see Takaki, Daiki, Chinen, Keito, Inoo and Hikaru already slumped on the couch weakly. They look like don’t eat all day.
"Ne minna, what happen? Daijobu?" Yuto ask, as he checked If their friends are allright. Luckily Daiki could still respond.
"We ran out of instant food for breakfast, and finally Yabu chose to cook. But he failed to cook until now we still don’t have breakfast till this hour." Daiki said softly, making Yuto and Ryosuke laugh hardly. Daiki and the others just looked at Ryosuke and Yuto annoyed.
Finally until a few minutes Ryosuke stop laughing, "Then where is Yabu-kun now?" he asked. Hikaru silently pointed toward the kitchen and Ryosuke and Yuto heading toward the kitchen together.
"Aaaaahhh, failed again!" Yabu shout, notice that the eggs he cooked burnt again for the umpteenth time. Looking at it, Ryosuke and Yuto giggled. Ryosuke finally approached him. "Yabu-kun, here let me cook. The others maybe will be died if they wait for your food." Ryosuke teased the older boy, and Yabu just pouted then left the kitchen.
Finally, 30 minutes later the food is completed and ready to be served. The sixth persons who were lying on a couch suddenly get up with high spirit when they smell at the delicious food make by Ryosuke.
"Fortunately, you immediately come home Yama-chan. if not, tomorrow will be hot news in the newspaper titled: 6 members of Hey! Say! JUMP found starved to death because waiting for the dishes that make by their leader. I am pretty sure that will be big news.” Daiki said while eating his rice. Yabu whacked his head, look annoyed and everyone just laughed at him.
“Ma..Ma, now let’s eat your food. We still have a lot of schedule today. We still have a magazine photo shoot, then we must to fitting our costume for our concert and after that we still have a practice.” Hikaru said, tell them about their schedule that already been told by their manager. The others just nodded and continued their breakfast.

Ryosuke is difficult to focus today. He is still thinking about what had just happened in his house. As a result he makes many mistakes while practice this time, and their choreographer become a little bit impatient to him.
"Yamada-kun, you're supposed to be in this position. That is Chinen-kun’s position.” Sanche-san the choreographer tells him.
“Hai! Sumimasen.” Ryosuke said softly then bowed deeply. He feels guilty because he makes a problem for the others. Sanche-san just sighed deeply. “Break for one hour minna.” He said and left the room. Ryosuke sighed then bowed toward the other members, but they just looked at Ryosuke in wonder. Then he rushed toward his bag and takes his phone. There is no call or messages for him. Actually he hopes that his brother will contact him. He is trying to contact his brother, but it seems Miura’s phone is not active. Ryosuke sigh again. Daiki, who sees the younger boy all the time, approached him.
“Yama-chan, what happened? Is there something that bothered you? it’s not like you to make mistakes like that.” Daiki said. Ryosuke just give his warm smile then shook his head. “Daijoubu Dai-chan. Maybe I am just feel tired because lack of sleep yesterday.” Ryosuke answer softly.
Daiki just looked at Ryosuke flatly. “If there’s anything that bothering you just tell me or the others. We are like brothers Yama-chan, so don’t keep your problem alone.” Daiki said and he joined the other on the couch. Ryosuke just nodded. After Daiki left him, Ryosuke try to contact Miura’s college, to know more about his brother. At least if he contacts Miura’s college he will know if he is in college or not. He is trying to call Miura’s counselors and fortunately someone answering his call.
“Yamada Miura. Hmm, I have checked it. He asks for my permission to leave the college for three months. He is on leave since 3 weeks ago. He said that he has something important to do. So, may I know with who I talked now? Are you his family?” asked that professor. Shock from the news, Ryosuke immediately cut the phone. Ryosuke is thinking hard now. Why his brother takes on leave from college and didn’t tell him? And the professor said Miura has something important to do. What is that? Ryosuke thought. By thinking, Ryosuke couldn’t find the answer. He decided that he must know the answer no matter what.
Suddenly one staff entered the room and called all of them. “Minna, you have a gift that addressed here. It seems from your fans.” That staff said. Yabu approached him and accept that big gift. It’s a big box and seems it content all of gifts for all members. After say thank you, that staff left the room.
“That box is so big.” Chinen said, looked curious make Ryosuke approached all of them that already gathered around that box. Yabu hold his chin, he seems thinking about something.
“Actually that’s not on my mind. What makes me curious, why this fan knows that we’re here? Usually our letter and gifts will be sending to Jimusho deshou? But this day our practice held in here, so I think there won’t be anyone knows we are here.” Yabu said, and it makes senses to the others.
“I think we must open that box first.” Inoo said, and Yabu nodded. Once that box opened, all of them shocked by its contents and the first thing happened is Hikaru yell loudly.
"AAAAARRRGGHH, cat!" He shouted then run away and squatted down in the corner of the room. "Yabu, get rid of that cat!" Hikaru shouted again, which is very afraid of cats. Not have time to get rid of that cat yet, now Takaki and Daiki are screaming too.
“AAAARRRGGGHH! Pigeons! Get rid of that!” Takaki shout, following by Daiki when he sees insects in that box. Everyone is trying to get rid of those animals so Hikaru, Takaki and Daiki don’t panic again. Finally Inoo, Yabu and Keito successfully get those creatures and put it in the safety place, far enough from Hikaru, Takaki and Daiki. Ryosuke is stirring that box again to see what is left in that box, but he is screaming too and with tears roll down from his cheeks.
“Why this hamster is died?” He yelled while clutching a dead hamster body that looks like it poisoning, and that hamster is similar like Ryosuke’s hamster so maybe he consider it like his own pet. Looking at the chaos in front of him, Yabu just sigh. Then he takes the hamster body from Ryosuke’s embrace, while the latter looked at that animal with sad eyes and still crying.
“Everyone, please calm down!” Yabu shouted.
“Yuya, Hikaru, Daiki, those pigeons, cat and insects are in safe place, so you don’t need to panic anymore. Yama-chan stop cry over that hamster. It’s not your pet. All of you, gathered here first.” Yabu command to the four, and Yuya, Daiki, Hikaru and Ryosuke approached him. Yuto, Keito, Chinen and Inoo approached him too. Then Yabu is stirring that box again, with terrified look from Yuya, Daiki, Hikaru and sad look from Ryosuke.
Yabu finally find a large brown envelope, and he opened it. Inside it is a letter that written with red ink. “This looks like from our maniac fans.” Yabu murmured which can be heard by the others. Yabu opened that letter and read it.
“YOU SCARED? YOU AFRAID OF THOSE ANIMALS I SEND TO YOU? PLEASE DON’T BE AFRAID. IF YOU WOULD BE MINE, I PROMISE I WILL PROTECT YOU FROM YOUR FEAR. JUST BE MINE, AND DON’T THINK ABOUT THE OTHER FANS BECAUSE THEY CAN’T PROTECT YOU. I AM THE ONE WHO CAN PROTECT YOU.” Yabu finished read it.
Ryosuke take that letter from Yabu’s hand and tore it into pieces. “What the hell is that? Why she uses insects, cats, pigeons, kill an innocent hamster and send a letter like that!?” Ryosuke exclaimed impatiently. Yuto patted the angry boy’s back, trying to calm him down. The others are also furious with their fan’s action.
Yabu as a leader, make an immediate action. He called their manager and also Sanche-san and tell them what had happened. Takayama-san is trying to calm down his talents and said that he will discuss it with Johnys Management and Johny Kitagawa himself. JUMP members become relieved now, because their agency will take an action about this problem. After that practice finish, JUMP members back to their van to come back to JUMP’s house.
For a while, even Ryosuke forget about his problem with Miura. He has remembered a minute ago that he must calls Takagi-san. He wants to make sure about Miura’s activity all day. “Moshi-moshi Takagi-san, I want to ask you about nii-chan schedule. Is he still go to college as usual? Is he on leave or not?” Ryosuke ask when Takagi pick up his call. After hearing the answer, he hung up the phone. Then he looked at his manager.
“Anoo, Takayama-san.. What about our schedule tomorrow?” Ryosuke ask. Takayama look at his appointment book for a while then replied, “Tomorrow BEST members will have perform in music station. Then, Nakajima-kun and Chinen-kun will have magazine photo shoot again, because earlier their picture aren’t complete while Okamoto-kun and Yamada-kun will be off, because there is no schedule for the two of you.” Takayama answered, make Ryosuke smiled mysteriously. He has a plan to investigate Miura, and will follow him, but Yabu interrupted his mind.
“Keito, Yama-chan, although you have a day off, it doesn’t mean you can go around. I forbid you to out from JUMP house and go to your house for a while. We can’t assure that fans maniac won’t do anything. So it’s safe to stay at JUMP’s house.” Yabu said. Slowly, Ryosuke’s smile faded away. This is means that he must do his plan secretly.
“Hai!” Ryosuke and Keito answer in unison.

“Anoo, Takayama-san.. What about our schedule tomorrow?” Ryosuke ask. Takayama look at his appointment book for a while then replied, “Tomorrow BEST members will have perform in music station. Then, Nakajima-kun and Chinen-kun will have magazine photo shoot again, because earlier their picture aren’t complete while Okamoto-kun and Yamada-kun will be off, because there is no schedule for the two of you.” Takayama answered, make Ryosuke smiled mysteriously. He has a plan to investigate Miura, and will follow him, but Yabu interrupted his mind.
“Keito, Yama-chan, although you have a day off, it doesn’t mean you can go around. I forbid you to out from JUMP house and go to your house for a while. We can’t assure that fans maniac won’t do anything. So it’s safe to stay at JUMP’s house.” Yabu said. Slowly, Ryosuke’s smile faded away. This is means that he must do his plan secretly.
“Hai!” Ryosuke and Keito answer in unison.
