bored
i guess it takes a friday night home alone (well not alone...rogue is with me) to update in this thing. I was suppose to hang out with jessi, kris, and amy tonight but they bailed for good reasons (lack of energy). I understand since i was running on about 4 hrs of sleep at work today.
I'm so pysched tonight! like a bunch of good shit happened...two are just me finding shit on the net that i really wanted! The first is the hunt for the song that is on my myspace. It's called "straight lines" and its by dawn landes. I've been looking for it since sometime in may i want to say. I even had amy helping me look since she is in a music sharing community. well no such luck. So i settled for making it my myspace song and every so often listening to it over and over. Well as I was on a hunt for another song, i decided to look once again. I read on a blog that itunes in the US was going to be adding the album soon (since it was available on the UK itunes for sometime now)...anyways, i didn't really look at when this blog was posted, i just opened itunes and searched for dawn landes and i saw that the album "two three four" was on there now and then i looked down and saw the song! I immediately got giddy. months of searching now over :)
Next good thing is that while watching rush hour 3 on wednesday night and the last 45 minutes on thursday night, there is this dance scene with a weird french song that just caught my attention. The beat of it is interesting and the way it is sung is cool too. so i went onto itunes to look at the soundtrack but that's all original score stuff. So off to imdb to browse the message board for rush hour 3. well no such luck for a while.
I decided to take a nap since i was very exhausted from work...well when i woke up i looked on the message board and someone knew the song! so i downloaded it off itunes :)
Next awesome thing, while i was on the phone with jessi about tonight I got a text from Victoria saying she and Tim got engaged so congrats to them. I know the other day she was talking about getting married next year so that's fun :) I'm happy for them!!!!
Last but not least, if you didn't know i've been working on a new drawing these past few days (which have been rough since rogue decided to destroy my lucy liu one from kill bill...i left it at her reaching level when i left for like 15 minutes and she loves paper...i was sad). Anyways, it's Mrs. Dana's birthday on monday and since lee and i are poor, we decided to have me draw a picture of Ditta (aka sex machine aka pig aka rockafeller). Well i think i'm done. Lee needs to look at it once more to see if i'm missing anything and then we need to get a frame. Not bad considering i did the bulk of it on thursday before work.
well i might be going out after all...i talked to lee since the game is over and he said something about going out with vic and tim to celebrate or something...laters!
