At the risk of appearing a one-trick pony, and preceded by the disclaimer that it won't help anyway:
Hidden Naomi Shihab Nye
If you place a fern under a stone the next day it will be nearly invisible as if the stone has swallowed it.
If you tuck the name of a loved one under your tongue too long without speaking it it becomes blood sigh the little sucked-in breath of air hiding everywhere beneath your words.
From your favoritest website of all time: "Me and Germaine Greer, or How I Learned to Stop Worrying And Embrace Feminism"
Yes, I just recently discovered Ms. Nye, and am loving every bit of her I can find. I recommend "The Rider" as another top-notch poem and she also has a pretty quality essay floating around directed towards Arab Terrorists.
Come online and chat sometime? I think we have things to talk about...
What is my favoritest website of all time? And what is that about embracing feminism? That's certainly not where my totally original title came from. Not that I don't embrace feminism. Hmm.
I work all day every day, so I can't sign on during the day. I have a phone, though, and I occasionally sign on after work and always on weekends!
