Campaigning

My fingers hurt so badly right around now.
Why, you ask? How kind of you.

This week, I've made about a hundred bracelets out of elastic and beads I found lying around the house. Each one had to be tied with quadruple or even quintuple knots. Otherwise it would just unravel. I attached them to a foam tag and handed them out as a campaign regiment. Due to my last-minute craftsiness, and my friends helping out with labels, we were able to get Joey a flying chance in the election. How exciting!!

Anyways, I handed them all out with my friends, got a bunch of positive feedback. Joey gave her speech today. It was pretty lame. It was supposed to be funny and sarcastic, and she raved about it. But when we actually heard it, there wasn't a lot of laughing and there certainly wasn't a lot of applause. But compared to the other wannabe-treasurers' speeches, hers went over with flying colors. One didn't even have a speech, he just burst out of some paper and started punching the air with some fighting music from his cell phone. His douche-y friends enjoyed it, but afterwards everybody thought it was lame. And the last, little miss perfect treasurer girl, gave her speech in poem format with a bunch of lame, 2nd grade rhyming like "Vote for who? Briana Lew!!"

The week has certainly been hectic. Totally fun, however.

Got my report card back: 4.0 GPA! YEAHH

Happy birthday, LJ!! Ten years, wow. I've been here for about half that time. hahaha
