Vacation drizzle
I finally got back in the water after three weeks of pretty crappy marine conditions. It was almost glassy and 7' at 12 seconds. The water was surprisingly green considering that it has been raining almost nonstop for weeks. It was really good to get back in the water. I am on vacation and vacation waves are the best.
Yohei was just pulling in when I got to the spot. This gave me the chance to pick up his longboard. I have been curious about the weight of it. It really doesn't feel that much heavier than a foam board. He'd sent me some update pictures which I was happy to find in my inbox when I got home. He is done with the shape and will build the fins and glass it. I figure about 2 weeks to glass it. He apologized for taking so long. Funny because I am impressed by how quickly he's getting it done. I am not sure I could be happier about how it is coming out. I really like the shape.
