It hasn't Sunk in yet...
My dad is leaving tommarrow for Iraq or Afghanistan. It still hasn't sunk in yet. He was on the Bay News 9 today. Twice. They were covering the Deployment Ceremony and Congressman Bill Young, who the reserve center was named after, was there. I talked to him and told him about wanting to join the army. But Dad leaving still hasn't sunk in yet. I'm scared. Dad is going to be a Fobbit, he won't leave the Fob, but will be one of those people looking out the tiny little window saying 'sun? is that "sun"?' and reaching out to the window. As long as he's bored, he's safe, so I'll be happy. I started HS the day he got mobilized. And it still hasn't sunken in yet.
