Vroom, bitches, vroom!
Well, yesterday Sal came over (for those of you with shitty memories, Sal is Nate's father)... He picked us up and toted us along as he usually does when he comes over... and we went to Joan and Pop's house (Nate's paternal grandparents). We visited for a while, talked about the ceremony the day before and all that... how it felt now that that was over and plans for later on... then we got back into Sal's car and Pops hopped in the front passenger seat.
We all took off and eventually ended up in Rehoboth. Down the road, after a discussion/debate between the two senior Pina men, we arrived at a used car lot and ended up having to sit around until the owner showed up again to get the keys for a nice burgundy '92 Toyota Camry (nice body, minus a couple scratches, good engine... new tires, axel and struts. Only 54k in milage, with one owner. Good car, good car.). So, after admiring it for a while and all, me, Nate and Sal jumped in (Sal driving) and we were on our way... we stopped at the gas station where Nate got to fill up half the tank (That's what 10 dollars gets you nowadays), and we headed off back to the house.
Once there, we showed the car to Pat, who was excited and Nate took us all for a little ride around the cul d'sac, twice.
Sal said, since Nate doesn't have his license, just his permit... he's gonna take the car and keep it with him for a while... he also wanted to drive it around a bit over the next 30 days to make sure nothing comes up that they overlooked before. Y'know, to stay within warranty allowances.
Also, Sal's leaving next week for Colorado, so Nate's gotta get back with his driving classes so we can have lower insurance rates come December.
So, that's our adventure for Monday. Vroom.
Oh, we got more money, by the way. XD
