I loved this. I loved all the callbacks to the S4 finale, and how you wove Brennan's words into the story. Nicely done.

Thank you! I wanted to use the words from 4.26 in a way that was part of the story without being overdone, so it's great to hear that you enjoyed :)

This is just so wonderful.

I knew I had seen that look on Booth's face at the end before, but I didn't realize exactly where until you wrote it here. It is exactly the same face as in the season four finale.

This is so wonderfully in character and each thing that they do is so wonderfully them.

"For Booth and Baby B, who will never be burdens." made my heart smile. I imagine a lot of book dedications for these two from here on out...I want to know which other books she wrote and dedicated to Booth between the second and this one. But that's another story.

Awesome job.

The whole premise for this fic grew off the back of my realisation that Booth's baby face is the same in both, so I'm especially pleased to see that point came through for you.

I have a thing for the book dedications too! I'm glad it worked well as the ending for you :)

Aww. The end of this brought tears to my eyes. Beautifully written and evocative, this story reminded me of everything I love about this couple that's so very, very different and yet, ultimately, wonderfully, alike.

Thank you.

I don't think I can find a comment I'll love more than this one - B&B can be tricky to write because they really are the perfect amount of the-same-but-different - I'm really glad that came through here :)

Thank you for a lovely comment.
