Have geek, will travel
Last night was a lot of fun. I skipped out of work a little early and headed to CAM. I had a lovely dinner with Gwyneth and then proceeded to the Shorewood Library. I had a group of about 8 people who were interested in research and documentation, which was a nice, manageable number. I really try to make it a funny lecture since it otherwise can be a very dry topic - I think I succeeded since, at least once, Jondalara had tears in her eyes from laughing so hard. :D Anyway, folks seemed to enjoy it well enough and then there was custard afterward, always the perfect way to round out a great, geeky evening...
The only problem is that now I'd much rather be at home working on my Pennsic classes than stuck here at work. :P
