I am once again a licensed driver! Huzzah!
I handed my expired license over at the RTA today, and the person on the desk was all "Are you an Australian citizen? It says here you're not, and that you can't get a NSW license."
I asked her how I got the expired license, if that was the case. Then someone else came over, did something on the computer, and I got my license renewed. I'm still on my green P's, but meh. Don't care a bit. I didn't have to take any tests or anything - didn't even need to provide an proof of my new address.
So then nolseygnu let me drive her shiny new car home. And lo, it was awesome. I missed driving.
I called Ma just now to ask for driving directions to their place. She told me she was busy watching Heroes, and couldn't chat just now.
