Alrighty then...
So, my oh-so-not productive weekend is coming to an end. As I'm sure you well know from my last entry (I know you live just to read my little ramblings...) we killed our entire Saturday evening looking for the Real World house by driving around ONE street for over two hours...well, I took The Kid...aka my little sister Kelly...and her friend down to see it yesterday during the day. Strangely, it was all blacked out, all the windows that is. The night before, they had white drapes that let you see in a bit, but during the next day it was totally black...hmmm...I didn't realize it on Saturday night when it was all dark out, but they live right next to Betsy Ross's house...isn't that strange. Well...just when I thought I had more Real World fun than a girl could handle...I'm on the phone with my cousin Lisa talking about our potential Bam Hunt (Bam from Viva la Bam and Jackass). And I mention to her how we had spent the entire night before looking for the Real World house, and of course now we have to go back Downtown to show her the house. Well, after many calls around we end up postponing the Bam hunt (I think it will start next weekend) and end up going to dinner and then going to show her and a few of Jamie's other friends the house. So, I've been there three times in just two days...how totally cool am I??? Too...I know you're way impressed that you even know me at this point.
What else? Not too much. I wasn't feeling so well this morning...poor, poor me. So I ended up sleeping most of the day away until like 12:30, when my mom came in and was like, "Kate...are you planning on waking up today..." well, if it was up to me, I would have just layed around, but I don't think she had that in mind. Within the hour, though, I was out and about getting my old man ice cream and myself a pizza...yum, yum...that's always a great way to make me feel better!!! Then I came home and attempted to watch the Phillies...but that didn't last very long with the million and a half rain delays they had...really, it was just two, but they were forever and a half...so I layed around till about five and then picked up the Kid over one of my cousin's house that she had slept over and then ended up there for awhile before coming home and deciding to attempt taking a practice LSAT...but that didn't last too long...there is NO quiet in this house. I was in Kelly's room cause she was hanging out down here in the living room...but before long she was going to crash...and then I came down here and had the lovely ongoing noise of my old man's snoring...he fell asleep on the couch watching the D-Day movie. Well, well. So, then I decided to give on up and go online...aren't you just too lucky...without all of that going wrong, you might never have gotten this update tonight...oh poor you.
Oh...I went shopping AGAIN this weekend...this isn't looking too good for me. I really HATE shopping, but I've become a bit addicted to it, and oddly enough I've become addicted to Old Navy in particular. I went shopping with Shelly and Kelly yesterday, we were supposed to be shopping just for Kelly, but well...Shelly and I both ended up walking out with our own bags of stuff. This came after I went CD shopping on Saturday...geez...way to go me...next weekend...no shopping for me!!!
And as for the hair situation...It's actually really growing on me...I decided last night while in Jamie's car and saw it in the passenger side mirror that it actually is kinda fun. Everyone that's seen it so far has loved it, and I just said they were trying to be nice...but now I'm actually enjoying it (and the five-ten minutes that it takes me to dry it instead of the 20). And, believe it or not, it makes me look like I'm NOT 12 any more...oh, Katie's growing up. I knew this day would come...
