(no subject)
I don't believe in New Year resolutions. I figure, if you recognize a change needs to be made, why wait for the calendar to roll over? I find that the longer I wait to attempt change, the less likely I am able to succeed. All New Years does for me is provide an excuse to gorge myself on finger foods for several days. And believe me, I do appreciate that excuse.
I resolved some time ago not to write here until I could contribute something that was not drenched in the negative that has enveloped my entire being. While I can't say I honestly believe that I can leave all the downer stuff out, I do think I have a good chance of sharing short entries of the good things in my life that leave work and in-laws far behind. So I look forward to sharing cute pictures of my little boy and my grumpy old dog with you and hope you'll bear with me if I do drudge up some muck.
