Museum-y goodness

Went to a day-long training session at the museum today. It's weird being "back at work", like the two months I was gone were a vacation or something, but I can't help but refer to my imminent return to docent-ing as "back at work". As if I was on vacation or something. You know. Anyway, the training was neat; Dr. Eugenie Scott from the National Center for Science Education lectured on the many creationist viewpoints and how we can best counter them with regards to the new exhibit. I left my black binder with all my notes in the docent room, though, which is irritating because I don't know when I'll actually be "back at work" next :-P

Also, I don't know who half these new docents are.

Oh, and after the training a bunch of us (hellosarah, wheloc, plummer, rinnaldo, chasingkoalas, rockchick357, eryops, spacecadet84 and some others) went to Madras Masala with Dr. Scott and had a fantastic dinner.

(Holy crap that's a lot of docents on LJ.)
