My grandma and myself made a dress today. In total it took about seven hours not including the hour we took on break. I'm really happy with the end results. I really like the fact that I now have some knowledge of sewing, patterns, and stitching. But I'm even more proud at the fact that I now have the knowledge and lessons from the previous generations. I kept on pricking my left thumb. I read somewhere that in Haute Couture pricking your left thumb is a sign that people with like the dress.
I miss allot of people, people I haven't seen in a while.
Meagan called me yesterday which was a pleasant surprise. She wants to me to visit her in Seattle.
Thinking about it, I haven't had a real phone conversation in a while, my only means of contact is via-text message. I don't mind text message but I do miss the occasional chit chat.
