I've been contemplating it a lot. I used to hate thinking about it because it was always the same circle of logic, it is everything but it's nothing. But lately I've been putting it in context, and it really changes the way you can look at stuff. I've enjoyed thinking about all the possibilities of it the past few days. I always remember that night in my room with Brendan and Shelby. I just see that image of the light that fused us together and things just made sense.
I heard a funny quote today about Vince Young. The sports commentator asked to his colleague, "What is it about Young that makes him so great?" and the colleague replied, "I don't know, but whatever it is, he's got it."
But yeah, the point that I'm trying to make is that you have to find it within yourself. Depending on other people to provide it for you feels nice, but you're just that, dependant. Once you've found it, to be cliché, once you’ve seen the light, the world goes into a completely different perspective. It's not about them, it's about you, and once you find you then I find you can function much better. You feel better about yourself, and can connect with others in a way that isn't binding. When you depend on someone to give you it, your connection is much different than when you aren't dependant. When you don't need someone, it enables you to enjoy their company much more. It's very gratifying.
