Just out of imagination. One day i'll be marrying someone. But that would be 10 years from now. I haven't seen Yody, Matsujun, Noda or Yone in real life. Anyway, if i get married and been blessed to have a son i'll be naming him YUYA or YUKI or HIKARU or maybe SHIN or YUURI. But my first choice is YUYA. Despite the name rhyme as YAYA.
There's no biases in choosing the name. It is not because i like Noda so much.
Other TOP names that keeps on popping in and out of my head are:
- When it comes to YODY, it sounds like a Gay's name and YODO, its like a name of a gangster. and the name YOSHI, well, its like a slang pronounciation of what we call "YOSI". (YOSI is short for cigarettes; that's how we call it - in my country of course) See! NO biases.
- DAISUKE is really a Japanese name and would not fit in the place i live.
- AKUN would be nice too but it would be pronounced as "aekun" or "eikun" just like the hollywood singer "Akun".
- As for YONE, well, there would be a stress on the "e" part of it just like the name of KOBE BRYANT, not the soft pronounciation of it.
- As for JUN, well, for us (us - means my country men) its a short term for JUNIOR, names that have Jr attached to their name and the persons who have names like JUN would always be called as "Jun-Jun" and has a "mama's boy" image.
- YUMA will be a good name too but it will rhyme to our word "LUMA" which means old thing.
- As YUTA, well, the name has a different meaning within us. It means "Soil". Its a "Bisayan Word"; Bisaya is a Native dialect.
- If i choose JIN as my son's name, it would be spelled as "JEAN".
- TOMA would also be a nice name but it definitely have a different effect. Kids would tease my son as his name is like a girl's name, TOM who is a girl - TOMA.
- Same thing for KEI,coz it definitely is a girls name.
- For SHOTA, well, within us, SHOTA is an informal way of calling your girlfriend.
So, in the end, i'll stay on choosing YUYA instead. HIKARU is always my favorite name but then it would not fit on my future son's environment. It would only fit if i marry a Japanese man. But then, i will never. Me as a fan will always be a fan though i've been dreaming on marrying anyone in the JE world. But that dream is part of my other world - the world out of reality; it means my fantasy world.
