A love for BUTTERFLIES

BUTTERFLIES - Where are they?

I love butterflies. They were so cute. Little creatures that never have had a chance to live longer.

I lived in a city. So definitely, butterflies are totally invisible to anyone. Since leaving my old hometown and living a new life in a new city, i haven't had the chance to see a single butterfly around my place. They used to be free before - fly freely wherever they want and making anyone of their kind jealous of their outside beauty. But now, they were already in a sanctuary that we, humans, made for them. So poor creatures.

When i was a kid, i used to play with them. Beautiful wings - lots of color. I even wished to be a butterfly. There are old stories of them i learned when i was a kid. My mom would say if she saw a brown butterfly, "someone would definitely come and borrow money from us or someone would give us money". As for the black butterfly, some people would say, it's a cursed butterfly (a bad omen) - it means bad news, a death of someone, accidents will occur, etc.

For me, they were unique. I love animals though except snakes. And butterflies make me want to be like them. All I want now is to see a butterfly, flying around the streets. I guess, it would be impossible because there are dangers flying around them.

Then, when i accompany my sister in buying her new sneakers because the weather is nice (no heat, no fires from the sun), i thought i would never have the chance to see butterflies. And then, i saw them hanging around the stall, not alive though, it was just a plain picture of them being painted in slippers.

Actually, i never really plan on buying those slippers. It's a brand-less slippers so its okey. It would definitely be deducted on my allowance. But that's fine.  At least, they could travel freely with me wherever i stroll around the city. There will be no danger.

All i need to worry now is how to double my allowance. Because i always buy things that are too impractical. I'm egotistic anyway.

personal: obsession, personal: my point of view
