[The audio turns on suddenly to a whimper]

Ah, shite. Can' come in tomorrow-

[Pause and a hiss]

House that means for yeh, all right? I can' come in tomorrow. I'll let yeh know when I can.

Frankie, bring home somethin' to eat, all right? For a few days. Don' feel like cookin'.

That's a short answer that is still going to have a series of questions. First being is it treatable?

They've never hurt like this. Randomly.

Help yourself by thinking of it productively. Symptoms?

Pain in old scars, like stabbing pain, not burning or an ache. They don't respond to Tylenol 3. No fever, headache, or fatigue.

Change in diet? What do your fingernails and toenails look like? Condition of skin around afflicted areas?

Everything's been usual! Everything looks...normal. Shite. Do you want me to come in? I hate being in the fucking hospital.

If everything is so usual why are you calling out? And if you're calling out but not already at the hospital seeking treatment I think that also relays another message.

Because it fucking hurts!

[Quiet]

Because something's wrong.

You're not dumb, your option are suffer at home and hope it will go away or come to the hospital and suffer until there's more to figure out or until we find a correct way to treat it.
