[ What Eden may or may not know is that Amory despises hospitals. Stepping into one voluntarily even when he needs it? Rarely. Almost never, really. However, when it came to visiting Eden-- there was only a small bout of hesitation before he firmly decided to go.

When Amory arrives at her room's door, he opens it just a crack in case she's fallen asleep. ]
