Heylows evvyones! I'm back from my holiday from Spain... and I really miss the places I visited with my dad and my aunt and my uncle. It was a sad moment while waiting for our Ryanair plane to board in Malaga Airport. Holiday to Spain: My best birthday present ever <3333
I don't have the pics on the main computer, it's all in my dad's computer, so I will upload them onto Facebook later in the day. Of course, I will put some pics here too! :3
This is just the short summary, so I will write long posts later or tomorrow or next days.
The places we went were Malaga, Granada, Cordoba and Seville. We didn't spend a lot of time in Malaga, it was just a stopping place from and to airport. Our flight from Dublin to Malaga was at 7:55am, arrived at Malaga airport at 11:35am (In Spain it's an hour plus, so in Dublin time 12:35pm) My dad rented a car for our trip and it was a crappy small Ford car xDD My dad wanted a VW Polo, already requested online in the online booking, and the company only have something simliar to the car requested. My dad agreed, but then disappointed to have to drive the crappy VW Polo-like car xDDDDD My uncle acted the same too, and joking all the way to amuse us. More driving antics later in the posts!! xDDDD
We visited the monuments in each regions of the Andalucia (South of Spain, which included those four)--- mostly Moorish buildings with Islamic art and Byzantine architecture, and one monument that used to be a medieval mosque, then converted to a cathedral (this place was massive and stunning, there were few Islamic art preserved in there, but seeing more Roman Catholic art and idols dominated the whole floor and ceiling, it somehow made me sad--- later in the posts on blurting my sadness.
The monuments also gave me ideas and inspiration, and also 'have I seen these places before??' moment--- and yes. The ones in Granada, Cordoba and Seville had something that reminded me of stages in Devil May Cry 4! And that really stuck in my head, and yes, I was tempted to run in those monuments as if I was Nero from DMC4 xDDDDD No, I have to be in tourist mode xD Ah well, in my sony ericsson mobile walkman, there was The Time Has Come track and lol it somewhat amused me xD
Coffee was so damn different to the ones I like to prepare at home >_< I ordered for black coffee before the main meal, then he gave me the coffee, as requested. But hell, I thought he took the wrong order cuz the coffee was prepared in the espresso cup!!! xDDDDDDD I didn't order for espresso!! ;___; Seriously, my dad and my aunt and my uncle laughed over my small amount of coffee worth 1.50 euros. What a freaking waste. xDDDD
Fruits are abundant in those regions. My dad and uncle picked up some fresh unsoiled dates from the ground and they said it tasted like the ones bought in Halal shops. Oranges, limes, pomegranates, grapes--- they are planted on boulevard streets, public parks! Well, we bought few fruits too in Lidl in Seville xDD Cheaper than in Dublin, I have to say.
On the fourth day, morning, at the point of homesick (yes, I had that-- boo), that Lidl we went regained my sanity xDDDDD OMG This is like the one in Tyrellstown! xDD I know, what a camp I am xDD
I will post long ones later or next days, so read if you have time!
Brrr, now back to Dublin, it is raining and windy and freezing >_< The taxi driver picked us up at midnight from Dublin airport and she said it had been torrential rain for the whole Wednesday. T__T It wasn't a surprise to all of us, cuz we experienced a worse rainfall in Seville. Later in the post.
