The top notch reporting of Faux News
This talking head is the steaming pile of crapfair and balanced journalist known as "Neil Cavuto". I put his name in quotes because, hey, the guy works for FNC give the ratio of truth to raving lunacy on Fox, who knows if this guy is Neil Cavuto or not.
But anyway, as pointed out on the All Spin Zone, apparently Neil is a time traveler*. Allegedly Neil has a medal endoskeleton as well.
We are are going to be in the middle of these protests because at Fox, we do not pick and choose these rallies and protests. We were there for the Million Man March, even though, as I pointed out, it turned out to be well shy of a million men. We were there for the Iraq war protest, and the protest against the Iraq war protest. So you see, we really don’t decide what populist causes matter - just that when a whole lot of people gather in a while lot of towns and cities across America, it is indeed worth checking out not just shutting down.
There are at least three problems with Neil's version of the time space continuum as it relates to our own here on Earth Prime. The first is that The Million Man March happened in 1995. The second is that Fox News Channel start broadcasting until October, 1996. The third is that there were dozens of Iraq war protests in America alone, not just one - and until the three or four hundred people teabagging a bridge - it was hundreds of thousands of people. The February 2003 protest in New York had been estimated between 100,000 and 500,000 people. The Bush response? "Size of protest, it's like deciding, 'Well, I'm going to decide policy based up on a focus group,'". So why should a few hundred angry douchebags tossing tea into rivers matter in the slightest against the almost 60 million people who voted for Obama and the 66% of the general voting population that supports the actions Obama is taking?
Why, because they're loud, obnoxious, tea polluting, windbag, Republican conservatives that's why! And if Obama doesn't enforce the will of this focus group over the will of the vast majority of America, well then he's just a socialist!
* I actually think he's a dimension hopping Slider who comes from Neo-Conservative Earth. That would actually explain a lot of right wing talking heads.
