Note Twenty

May 27, 2008 00:23

[Klavier's tossing and turning, grumbling. Finally, he gets up and goes to sit out on the couch. He holds his head in his hands, and sighs.]

Thank you, Template. Just when I was able to sleep again.

[Slips into German:]

[God... I'm not going insane, am I? Please no...]

who needs sleep?, no sleep for the innocent, german, *plot

Perhaps, however I cannot seem to rest. Even tea isn't helping. Truly bothersome don't you agree?

I can agree. Perhaps in the end it'll be exhaustion that'll allow us to sleep. I hope it doesn't get that way. You need your sleep, dear.

Ah, but don't you need your beauty sleep as well?

I'll be fine. I'm used to late nights.

Beauty sleep is for those with beauty. I hardly doubt I count as one, Klavier.

Still we can only hope sleep comes quickly. Perhaps...if you're willing we could have tea if we've not slept by the morrow. It'd certainly be nice company.

I would beg to differ.

That would be nice, yes.

Oh would you?

Wonderful. Perhaps...we should go out for tea. I could meet you somewhere if you'd so like.

That could work as well. But let's see if we can get some sleep first.

That sounds wonderful actually. I'll see you in the morn. Please do try and rest well, Klavier. I'd hate to see you ill from lack of sleep.
