This week the state of Israel passed a law stating that any gay marraiges officiated outside of Eretz Yisrael would be legally accepted in the land of Israel. Medical, finantial, and other marital benefits, by law, should now be given to any homosexual couple married outside Israel. In essence gay marraiges hold the same power that heterosexual marraiges done by reform or conservative clergy.

Bizarre how Israel has progressed more on this than New York....
