something to read, please
Wednesday I read all of Fight Club in one sitting. Yesterday and a little bit the night before, I read Someday This Pain Will Be Useful to You by Peter Cameron. I'm now reading Slam by Nick Hornby. I feel like I will have run out of things to read after this book. I have a few novels kicking around that I haven't read yet, but I'm not sure I want to read any of them. Actually, I'm closer to being sure that I don't. Nicole Brossard, anyone? I'm not in the mood for that. I know it's gotta be pretty much impossible to have access to a university library and run out of things to read. I need suggestions. Nothing too flowery, please. I was about to say nothing too heavy, but really, heavy is probably fine. Heavy in subject matter, anyway. So please, suggest something! Or many somethings, even.
