Sketch dump (NSFW - boobies)

Feb 01, 2010 14:09

I'm taking a day off from school. I have wisdom teeth growing in - 4!! - and so we went to the dentist. I'll have to get surgery to remove all of them - 4!!!

But, as long as I'm home, I figured why not post the pictures I scanned last night. So here we go. 40 sketches of madness.

Mask t-shirt designs for our Thespian Society's UIL tournament One-Act Play play. Something about a Chinese prostitute who developes a male persona.

Originally supposed to be Charlie and Toby from Smarmbats. Now it's just a pink haired girl.

Fun fact: Photobucket said this picture was in violation of the terms of service. I reuploaded it because I disagree, not so much that it doesn't violate the terms, but that the people at photobucket are inconsistent in deciding which images are or are not in violation. Just take a look at the rest of this post! Robot nipples and harpie nipples! Yet neither of those were flagged. What gives?

New character! She has no name, yet, but she goes around looking for spare parts and anythign she can use to aid the humans she protects. She runs into I-1 while in the middle of doing all of this.

Feralbots. Are constantly scouring (I think that's the word) the forests and unpopulated regions for robots to steal pieces from. This one is missing its jaw type thing.

A doodles page. Out of this, the bottom few characters inspire these guys:

I'm not sure what the names of these other robots are, but they play an important role in helping I-1 adjust to the new world she faces. There are also sex bots. You know, because every robot comic needs sex bots.

A doctor character I brainstormed up for After Life. He has a huge beard! I'm sure I'll have a post about After Life soon, explaining who the various characters are and what their roles are, but I'm still determining all of that. I have a lot ideas, and I need to figure out how to execute them.

Lauren, the fabulous friend who gave me the paint markers, recently got some brush ink pen marker things that are just as fun to use! his is me messing around with them, as well as testing out a couple hair styles.

Paint marker/micron fun :D

I drew up this character while our class was watching Jim Henson's version of Icarus. Still not satisfied with the feet.

I felt like making another pirate character. You can see Josephine up tight, wearing her afro in some weird styles, as usual. Then there's Alice. I wanted to make a pirate character who had big, huge, fluffy hair, much like Josephine's, but that went downward. This was the first sketch, but the hair didn't feel big enough. Soooo...

I made it bigger!

Dogs!

Trying different eye/eyebrow styles. A lot of my girls have been turning out like this. I don't totally mind, it's just something that happens when your art is improving - drawing the same thing over and over again until it evolves into something different.

More fun with markers!

I don't remember drawing this. Huh.

A super hero kind of outfit, following the typical wear-as-much-leather-as-possible-while-still-being-revealing kind of way.

I tend to oversexual Jasmine, and make her look completely different than Disney intended, I'm sure.

And here's some more Jasmine stuff:

I like to think that these are the two sketches that started the whole Jasmine theme of this month.

Of course, she was this month's calendar girl, so I'm not surprised.

A small, cute green moleskine I got for my birthday! I got two of them. This is the one I've been using and I mainly use it for jotting short - really short - notes to myself. It's too small to write a novel in.

Bought crayons for a reason that will be explained shortly. Just felt like messing around with them.

An After Life figurine I have in mind. I want to make it more about the scene though and not about the story, so that if I were to ever submit it to Patch Together, I wouldn't get criticized for uploading a pre-established character (as many of the people who upload sketches of fursona tend to be).

The following are coloring pages from a Disney Princess coloring book I bought a while back. I quickly learned that they were not made for people with art supplies other than crayola markers or crayons, as you can tell with the Ariel one, so I bought a 96 pack of crayons. While the problem of ink rubbing off on the other page still existed, so I took to just tearing the pages out and coloring them like that. I've learned my lesson.

Woo! That's all out of the way. Now onward to February!!
