i am so fucking sick of the blatant anti-poly themes in lesbian drama, fiction, and comedy.
like we're the scourge of the dyke community.
i just want one, just ONE, sympathetic-honest-frank-funny-enjoyable-realistic poly character. JUST ONE. we've got hoards of lovable non-monogamous slut characters. but somehow the polyamorous ones are always trecherous and misleading, deceitful hatable characters.
fuck the L Word, fuck Exes and Ohs, and fuck all those fucking lesbian movies.
i just want one.
why is our community more sympathetic to cheating monogamous lesbos in our literature and television? why are the writers and directors okay with the fact that most dykes have cheated on at least one of their partners, but you can show them from the beginning to the end as friends, family, and potential partners, but ....
