Les Miserables xD 3-10-'10
Right, so tonight, me and Matthew Robson, a friend of mine, went to see 'Les Miserables: Live in Concert: The 25th Anniversary in the cinema xD
It was on live in The O2 Arena in London, but there was a satellite broadcasting the show to selected cinemas in Ireland! I think they may have been doing it in other countries too!
Needless to say, if I was to gush over how amazing it was or how well each actor complimented the rest of them or how amazing Matt Lucas is or how Alfie Boe is God, I'd be here until 2030....
So, Luck was on my side tonight! I managed to score the LAST two tickets available for the night xDDDDD
And when it started, I was almost flailing in my seat xDDDD
It was AMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAZING!
Alfie Boe is now one of my all time favourite actors!
What a voice!
He can do no wrong!
He was one of the best Valjeans I've ever seen!
And Nick Jonas.....
Well, I was terrified that I'd hate it cause he was in it, but he was amazing!
He played Marius so well!
Even if he did kind of struggle with the really low notes!
Now, Matt Lucas................................................
What a surprise I got when he opened his mouth and began to sing!
HOLY SHIT!
He was fantastic xD
And hilarious!
Ramin Karimloo!
AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
When he walked on stage, I practically shrieked in my seat!
I had made a point of not looking at the cast list before the show, but I had found out about Nick Jonas in it anyway...
But he was just as amazing as he always is!
He makes an AWESOME Enjolras!
All in all, it was an amazing night!
Don't know if the guy sitting beside me shared this opinion, though!
Considering he fell asleep halfway through Act 1 and wouldn't stop snoring!
No matter what we did to try and wake him, he was out of it!
It was hilarious!
But frustrating!
And we came to the realisation afterwards, that I'm Valjean's alterego!
I am him xDDDDDDDD
