STRESSED!!
Grrr My husband's Mother and brother have not seen each other in YEARS!! (not my fault we've seen each of them plenty)....since the last time they've meet Husband's brother has a 5 yr old son and twin 3 yr old girls. They live 4 hours away from us and Husband's Mother. Husband's Brother has this HUGE chip on his shoulder because since moving back to MI 3 years ago Husband's Mother has not put any effort into seeing his children (can't blame him I suppose)...and because Husband's Mother lived with us for about a year (give or take) She has seen our kids often....
ANYWAY... they all are on their way here today(Husband's Brother and family and Husband's Mother)...right now...We plan on having lunch and visiting for a few hours....
Yes I am stressed....we do go out of our way to see Husband's Brother's family and keep sort of loose contact... They are coming to our house...Husband's Mother was going to bring her boyfriend...I told her not to (basically we'd protect her) I just hope my home will not be staging ground for this feud.
MY HOPE is that all will walk away with a better understanding of why things went the way they did the past 3 years and that we will all keep in better contact.
AND I can't wait till they all go home!! and I can stop stressing about it!!
