I blame Stephenie Meyer for a lot of things. A lot. But not this. Joss and his (they've been smoking)crack team got themselves into this one.

Exactly.

All Stephenie Meyer did was write an extraordinarily popular series (regardless of quality) that made Joss bitter, envious, and petty. And that's Joss' fault.

I want to yell at him to grow up.

And if he's so convinced that his series is better than hers (which he'll get no argument from me about), then he's above such things and should just ignore the existence of hers. Like someone (Emmie?) has been saying, the mere existence of BtVS is all that's needed to mock Twilight.

GAH! Me too. And not just about this - he gets petty about a lot of things, and it's just so childish.

And yeah, back when BtVS was GOOD, all it had to do was exist to make Twilight inferior. But now it's DOUBLY idiotic, because not only has Joss decided he needs to mock them outright (which is childish and petty), he's for some reason decided to do it at the point when BtVS has become MORE RIDICULOUS than Twilight, so he has NO ROOM TO TALK!!!!!!
