So, red_satin_doll posted an image of Anya that says "Anya for President: 'Cause girlfriend will get shit done" and I commented saying "Anya will take the economy and make it her bitch." And it got me thinking: what BtVS/AtS characters do you think would make good politicians (and don't just say everyone because all politicians are idiots and even fictional

Secondly - I still vote for Anya, but with the reservation that she has NO feeling for compromise, public relationships, or oily-tongued doublespeak, so she'd probably run up against a hard-ass opposition in Congress. Which she will predictably ignore.
I haven't watched AtS so I can't comment on those characters, but Andrew would definitely be White House Press Secretary. And Giles would be Secretary of State.
Buffy would stay as far the hell away from DC as possible, because she doesn't kill humans but boy would she be tempted...
And I still want the Buffybot as Vice-President (I haven't done that post yet.) Think about it - she's adorable, photogenic, everybody loves her, she has a perfect memory and knows everything about you, she asks the logical questions other people aren't willing to voice without embarrassment. Of course there's that little "eager to please" thing that could get in the way (can't please all of the people all of time etc) but Willow could fix that. (Maybe.) She'd be very quotable, and like Chauncey Gardener, everyone would assume her word salad puns were actually deep metaphors in disguise.
