Feminism in the Buffyverse Fandom Survey
Hello, and here's the official launching of my "Feminism in the Buffyverse Fandom" survey!
The survey is here, and the discussion at my research LJ is here.
I've advertised the survey at SlayAlive, BuffyForums, the Fan Forum Buffy Page, the Fan Forum Angel Page, the Buffy Page atFanpop, and The Bronze Beta. I'm going to contact various individuals in the forums and on Tumblr representing many different "fandom ideologies" and ask that they participate so that this doesn't skew towards my friends, and I've already contacted makd, who I believe is Mary Kirby-Diaz, whose methodology I'm trying hard to emulate, in my amateurish way.
Any boards I've missed? Should I post to the Dark Horse/IDW boards (which I know are unmodded)? What about ship and character fan boards? Cold Dead Seed? Blood and Roses? Could some of you with large and varied f-lists link to the survey in your own journal? Do I want to go crawling to Buffyfest and ask that they boost the signal? Simon's got Whedonesque covered for me, and I hope he's also going to post links on Facebook and
Twitter, so that I can get the social media scene.
