Nel Arrives!
She's here! She's going to look fantastic with a faceup and while I'm still undecided about the Siean being Nel, she really is beautiful.
I did a video box opening for the first time. The lighting in my house sucks, but I did this in the most lit room in the house. I wonder if I'd done it from the opposite angle if the light might have been better, having the light behind the camera instead of behind me. Oh well. Live and learn. Also, my summer dress was shorter than I thought, so I apologize.
Since I'd also had Malinda's order with my stuff, we made a lunch date for me to come down to her work and get lunch at Wendy's so I could give her the pkf she ordered. You can hear the text coming through on my cell during the video.
After I got back from lunch, I put some clothes on her (although it's only really the shift I'd made for Eilonwy) and took a few pictures of her with her husband and two children, trying to get a gauge on how she looked with the others. Lechi and Alaric are in need of new faceups as they're older faceups of Malinda's. I think Alaric could use some more darkening around his eyes to make his eyes look bigger and make him look younger. Currently I think he looks older than his dad. (Walter's supposed to be 34-35, while Alaric in this form is 20.)

Here you can see better how she shifted in the box. I've looked her over and despite her uncomfortable position she's unharmed.
A better picture of the Siean. I really like her. On a whim, I tried Lechi's wig on her, thinking mildly that if Nel stays a Siean and gets her elf ears, changing her daughter to the minifee Elf Siean wouldn't be such a crazy move. If I wanted to do that, that is. Regardless, the wig looked cute on her, and the style suits the mold, given her a softer look. I didn't take a picture of it, however. Maybe I will later.
I think this mold will look lovely with elf ears. Even if Nel doesn't stay the Siean, I think I'll still want the elf ears for her and she'll stick around and be the Mirwen boy's girl, as I'll need to order Walter's body with a head and I really want a Mirwen boy.
With her family:
I think they look very sweet together.
The eyes aren't bad. They're a nice gray glass. I didn't get a chance to put in her green eyes I bought her. I really need to buy Walter's blue eyes.
Pretty sweet with her daughter.
"Chin up, my son."
"It'll be all right."
Alaric's had it rough since his parents were killed. Nel would have wanted to comfort him. They look good together.

Maybe if I'm lucky Malinda can do her faceup this week... I hope to take more pictures (with or without faceup) with Walter. I've been dying to do coupley pictures. My first fully in-house adult couple!
