Ordered
Well, Nel has been ordered. I'm a little terrified on my financial management the next few months, but if I'm diligent, I think I should be okay. Malinda ordered with me, so we've got the 900. I'm getting the elf Siean, and she's getting the elf Yder (although I may eventually want to track down a Yder as well). I'm excited, but nervous as well, especially as I can't purchase any hair or eyes during the months I'm doing the layaway. I just don't have the extra. I guess I can window shop. I think I might want a Monique blond wig for her - not that difficult a decision. lol They're awesome wigs and I just love them. Kana is of course a possibility, but so could be some others. I'll just keep an eye out for stuff, see what I like, and when I no longer have the layaway, see about getting stuff while Malinda is working on her faceup and working on her elf outfit that I've started to concoct in my mind. I've got some fantastic material that I've gotten that I have in mind for it, too. Don't want to start working on it until I have her in, unless I get to borrow Malinda's F60, partially because the F60 is going to be a little slimmer than the old Delf bodies. And I want to make sure it works for Nel.
As for my sewing, I've been working hard on Eilonwy's outfit.. It's really coming together nicely. I've even gotten the trim done to where it looks perfectly the way I wanted it to be. Now I just need to do the sleeves (which I think may be the hardest part of the whole thing, since it needs to close up to the elbow and then button up to the cuff) and do the front closings. I've taken a few pictures, one on my cell phone (which is a crappy picture, because I have a crappy phone camera), but nothing I'm ready to show off yet.
