In Other (non glasses) News
My cousin, the one who was in MASSIVE PAIN on Easter? Had her gall bladder removed yesterday and now should be fine. But her mother (my aunt) didn't bother to tell my mother (her sister) that she was in the hospital or anything-- I had to tell my mom, and I only learned through facebook. So, the drama on my mom's side of the family, which came to a head over my grandfather's illness in December/January, continues.
No news on my paternal grandfather. I had hoped to call my grandmother today, but got a late start and now it's nearly 10pm on the East Coast and while she's a night owl, I am not going to bother her this late. (She's had to change her schedule-- which was go to bed at 2am, get up at noon-- yes, my grandparents are like teenagers!-- since moving to assisted living since they eat at 8, 12 and 5.) I'll talk to my parents tomorrow and undoubtedly hear more. The fact that my parents are at a play tonight suggests, however, that things have not worsened.
(Heh. My dad-- who designs sets sometimes for amateur theatre-- just sent me a picture of the front of the Noises Off! set. I fully anticipate a picture of the back of it (since it turns for act 2) shortly. I'm particularly fond of Noises Off! because I saw it at Civic in high school, with my parents, so the lines became a running family joke. Then I stage managed it for a company in VA, and got to work with spade on my crew. That was my first stage managing gig, and probably my most complicated one.)
I need to be commenting on student drafts this weekend, as in, by tomorrow midnight. :P Donwanna. Will probably hang out with H. tomorrow to work on them.
I worked out yesterday. I did 45minutes on the elliptical and then decided it was sucking and I didn't want to do it any more. It was much harder yesterday than the hour I did Thursday. Why? No idea. So then I did 30minutes on the bike.
No workout today, although I did walk around a mall a lot. I could still, theoretically, work out... it seems unlikely.
Yesterday I made two items from scupley which will be unveiled at a later date. One (my favorite) is for my SPN Tarot card. MWAHAHAHAHA. I told Spade a little about said card and she seemd pleased. I hope maiafire and the other mods like it, too.
And that's about it...
