Wherein I whine about the Olympics coverage this year.
Ugh. I'm really enjoying watching Olympic gymnastics and swimming, but nightly 12:30-1am bedtimes are killing me. I guess NBC figures that everyone has a Tivo, so it doesn't matter that they're broadcasting insanely late. I know it's a function of the games being in Cnina and them wanting to broadcast live footage, but I think it's a shame they don't have more coverage at more reasonable times. I can't imagine that parents are letting their little gymnastics hopefuls stay up late enough to watch the competition when it's being broadcast.
I'm also really sad that since
glaciationis not insane enough to stay up until 12:30 every night, I'm not getting to watch as much of the Olympics with him as I would have liked. :(
