Screening comments
I spoke to W about what to do regarding privacy and our journals etc. I don't want to make things friends only, because that hasn't worked in the past, and I don't really share anything that I wouldn't want someone to know. We decided the best thing would be to screen comments. I *hate* screening comments as it's kinda lame, but it's the only thing we can think of to create this journal drama free. I'm only going to use this journal for friends and updates. I have another for communities. It's an old journal that I used for "dear diary" entries that was just for my own thoughts.
Anyways, the only reason I'm explaining this is so I don't have friends going "Are you just screening me???" So, no it's nothing bad, I'm screening everyone. Oh, and your comments will be unscreened when I respond. I have to figure out how all this crap works still. I guess if you want your comment to remain screened, then post that in the heading.
In non drama news wish me luck this weekend. I have a crapload of company, my SIL and her 3 kids are coming up (2 are autistic) and my sister and her family are coming, and they are bringing a friend. I have no clue how I'm going to manage as Winston is building a barn and I've got loads of canning to do! Fresh cherries are in season, so I'm making the most of it! Kims kids are allergic to just about everything, so we have to keep Orion out of sight this weekend :(
