Is it weird that I'm angry at my age?
Like, for starters, I'm not allowed to see a film on Tim Minchin at the Melbourne International Film Festival because every film in the festival is restricted to 18+ (don't even get me started on that, the mind boggles at the stupidity of that rule).
I missed out on The Beatles, Janis Joplin, David Bowie, Joni Mitchell, Pink Floyd, Simon & Garfunkel, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Nirvana, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Jimi Hendrix - Woodstock in general - (the best of) Bob Dylan and Elton John - I could go on forever. All because I failed to exist (on simple terms). Being a teenager then seems like so much more fun, free love, rock n roll, flowers in hair...you get it.
Instead Gen Y gets stuck with global warming (oh boy), and so much technology one day everyones brains are going to self-destruct from over-stimulation. What fun.
