Okay. Finally. This anthropromorphic Pokemon obsession is dying down. I'm starting to go back to mermen. But just so I don't forget, at the end of this crazy Pokemon-obsessed week, these are the pairings I've come up with:
Milotic/Gyarados. Milotic is like the Hoenn form of Gyarados, and also, their personalities match up perfectly. The Tender Pokemon can calm the Atrocious Pokemon.
Ninetales/Espeon. Both fox-ish, and I have a nice story for them.
Smeargle/Smeargle. They can paint each other!
Nidorina/Clefairy. This is actually femmeslash. I don't know why I think these two would go together. Maybe it's their contrasting personalities, or the fact that they both need a Moon Stone to evolve...?
Kingdra/Seaking. First of all, they both have "king" in their name. Secondly, their anatomy works perfectly together. Goldeen seems to be female, while Seaking seems to be male, so Seaking may have retained an ability to lay eggs, which he can lay in the seahorse-like Kingdra, and then protect fiercely because of his nature.
Arcanine/Houndoom. I've got an idea for these guys.
Scyther/Butterfree. I just needed a bug pairing. Also, harsh goes well with soft~
Sneasel/Skarmory. I've always liked this pairing. Sneasel will have his way with Skarmory even if he has to tie him up, and he will gladly do so.
Linoone/Persian. Both of them evolve from Pokemon that like shiny things, and their colors match pretty well too. Plus it's cat-and-rodent!
Murkrow/Misdreavus. I haven't thought too much about this one, but they go well together because of the whole dark-creepy-natured thing.
Slowbro/Shellder. Come on, this one's just canon.
Skitty/Shinx. More femmeslash. They're similar Pokemon, and I think they would go well together just because.
Castform/Dragonair. Still more femmeslash! Dragonair can change the weather and Castform is affected by it. It works out well.
Strangely, even though my Nidorino boy was my first Pokemon hybrid, he's still not paired up with anyone.
It's also strange that I have three femmeslash pairings now. Normally I can't make female characters at all, but I guess when you see a Pokemon as female and you want to pair it off, you don't have much choice. It's better than het, anyway.
Now to go back to focusing on my merman story. Finally.
