I wrote this a couple weeks ago and... never posted it because I didn't know how to finish it. I finally decided to just post as is. Thanks naye for the encouragement &hearts.
Characters: Luffy & Garp
“Move Jiichan”
Move, and Luffy will walk right into Sengoku’s path. And he will die.
Move, and Ace will watch his brother die less than a foot from where he is chained.
You could stop him. You could put him out of the fight right now and it would be a greater mercy than allowing him to reach Sengoku.
And then Luffy will be captured with every other pirate here and spend the rest of his life in the prison he challenged to save his brother. His short life, because it will only be a matter of time before they bring him back here to answer for his crimes at Enies Lobby. At Shabondy, at Impel Down, and here. For the crime of being your son’s son.
