Lina, how's your leg? Okay? Henry and Henry, I'd ask about your side and shoulder, but I should hope that if something were horribly wrong, you'dve told me to my face, so. If either of you are up for more shooting practice tomorrow, let me know ( Read more... )

713 is, as always, available. I'll need to know who all would be going in there so that I can re-arrange the security. There's a few bases as well--old military ones set up to handle supernatural shit much like your guys' place, including lock-down features and of course, the system's 'eject' button.

If people can start getting me lists of the ammo type they need, guns they prefer, blades if they know how to use them, other weapon types, I can start getting what I can from my supplier and start getting the remainder needed made and inlaid with the silver.

All right, thank you. Does 713 have any kind of medical facilities, do you know? When we get back, we'll probably be needing that to at least some degree. Sounds like Becky and Ika and maybe Eiko can be on-hand to help, but having whatever supplies and stuff they'd need would be handy, I bet.

Henry Townshend and I have been working mostly with Taurus 9mm pistols. I think the model's PT 24/7 Pro, if that matters. I'll put a note up asking other people to get in contact with you about that. Just so you know, I think ammo's going to be the only silver we're looking for. A silver weapon won't have any more effect than any other weapon. And even if it did, if one of Walter's Victims is getting close enough to hit, you don't want to be hitting them, you want to be running.

It's a full-scale military base geared towards dealing with the supernatural. There's probably shit in the medbay that even your guys might not have yet.

It was built by my last set of bosses, and then they were, uh, asked to leave. Equipment and supplies were left behind. I've done my best to keep the expirable stuff up to date since then.

What happens when one of the Victims are too close?

Great! That sounds like a good place to regroup afterwards, thank you.

Your vision and hearing start going first, then when they get closer, you feel it in your head. It hurts, a lot. By the time they're up next to you, you're paralyzed.

The silver bullets are so helpful because if you hit them with one, they're stopped for a little bit. Half a minute, maybe, and that effect they have on the air around them goes away until they're moving again. It's long enough to put distance between you and them. If you hit them with a clip or two of bullets without silver, that'll stop them for a bit, too, but only a few seconds.

Just tell me who would be regrouping there. Charley can get pretty violent with unauthorized entries.

They sound like they have some major mind-control things going on. Too bad we can't figure out blockers for them ahead of time.

What happens if you manage to shoot the brain and heart?

Okay. Me, Henry, Henry, Ika, Becky, you, Becky's going to ask Eiko, and I think there'll be people from the Bureau, but I'm not totally sure who. Maybe I'll see if Kate or someone can coordinate that and let me or you know.

It's not exactly mind-control, more of a spiritual kind of thing. I don't know for sure, but I'd bet that the being blinded, pain, that stuff that you feel is all kind of an artifact of the real problem. Being near them kills you. You just... start dying. We do know one thing that can block that, I'm working on getting some of those. Even they're just a temporary help, though, not a permanent fix.

Nothing any different from shooting any other part of them, I'm afraid. They're not monsters like the others, they're what's left of the souls of Walter's Sacraments. A silver bullet, or a bunch of normal bullets, that'll stun them for a moment, but they can't be hurt or killed, at all.

I'll need 9mm bullets- same as last time. I'm still using the Berettas. In fact, we still have a few of those left over.

I'm trying to think of what other weapons we might be bringing along. I'll talk with the Bureau about that in the next few days. We've been using H&K assault rifles, but I don't know if those would be any more useful there than a normal semi-auto pistol.

Thanks so much for your help, Derek.
