Okay, who told? Come on fess up!
Embarrassing does not even cover it. I'm talking red-face, stuttering, and complete loss of thought. It was a very sweet and thoughtful moment but I am completely blown away by the total embarrassment that my co-workers just put me through.
So here I am in the middle of a transaction with a guest in front of me, and all of a sudden I'm surrounded by cast members asking the guest to sing 'Happy Birthday' to me. At first I thought how sweet, embarrassing but sweet, but then I turn my head and the singing gets louder. I kind you not, the entire B of Main St plus guest are all singing to me. My face could have powered the world at this moment. I had the instigators telling me that this was my just deserts for not saying anything. I so had this on the d.l. So now the question is how was this discovered, when it is not posted anywhere.
I'm sure that once my face returns tho normal, I can truly appreciate the spotlight moment.
