I hate being the oldest.
I want to go back home where I live alone with my mom! I want to quit being the oldest of four!
I hate being the oldest for so many reasons. It kills me.
[ranting]I feel like I'm being put aside for the sake of the kids and while I know it's normal, it annoys me. I've been the little sister to a big sister 10 years older than myself, and the first memories of us when I was a kid (about 7-8), she was already out of the house. I'm used to be the one to whom mom and dad listen to and to be the 'baby,' which gives me privileges such as being pampered 24/24 and practically never being refused anything.
I know it's pretty stupid to rant like this but it annoys me since it's been 18 years I've been raised as practically a lonely child and now being the oldest of four makes me want to make my luggage and go home, back in good old Canada with mom and the dog.
Since I'm the oldest, the 3 kids' needs come before mine. I'm the one to take my bath last because I'm the oldest and need the less sleep. If I want to watch TV, I must ask the kids if there's something they want to see first before getting the right to see. And of course, since they really want to annoy me, they find something they want to see at all costs. The only programs I can watch without any doubt on a regular basis is Cartoon KAT-TUN because it's passed midnight and everyone sleeps (and if I couldn't I'd probably be really down because it's my only 'private' half-hour in a whole freaking week). And Music Station because they have their swimming lesson on Friday nights. And CDTV since recently (thanks Isa xD) because they also sleep.
This was pure f-list spamming but I had to tell someone and LJ was open on my computer when I stormed into my room after being denied the right to watch The Shounen Club until the end even if I told everyone a week ago to be sure to get the right to see it. I know it's a stupid reason but it just gives me another (small) reason to hate being the oldest.[/ranting]
