Harry Potter and Fruits Basket rant? (spoilers)
OMG, I've just bought and read the last volume of Fruits Basket and it was SO KAWAII!!!!! I loved everyone's end/future, specially Tohru and Kyo's ( spoiler hint: at the end of the book we see a girl running with a cat and a mouse plushies searching for her grandparents and she wears pigtails just like Tohru when she was younger). I just think that Akito's hair looks like Kagura's in the end.. I still think she should have remained with short hair. But Shigure/
Akito looks so cute in the end... and to think that in the beginning I thought Shigure would be the only one left alone (but, to my surprise, it's Momiji who continues single, although he says "he wants to find a girlfriend as great as Tohru"). As for Yuki... don't miss the scenes of Kakeru and Komaki talking with Yuki about future, it's hillarious how the things end.
But the best part is the final chapter in which we catch a brief moment between Hatori and Mayuko, they are meant to each other XDDDD! The dialogue in this part is so funny!!! And Ritsu finally managed to cut his hair and wear men clothes.
Now, for the Harry Potter part of this rant.
First, the book. I'm still reading it and at first I thought it a bit weird at first that they are not in Hogwarts, but I'm currently reading chapter 16 and I'm really anxious to see how all the things are going to develope... but I felt really sad that Hedwigs was killed by the Avada Kedavra ;__;
Second, the movie. I must say that although it was fun to watch (I didn't sleep or anything during the movie), I'm extremelly disappointed with how they cut so many events, it felt like everything happened too fast, while in the book you definetely get the impression that although many things happened, they happened throughout the year, not in mere 2 or 3 months. They only thing positive in the movie is the actress who is Dolores Umbridge, she did an excellent work transforming Umbridge into the irritable little woman that she is, and the final battle, the whole effect of special effects and camera shots was really good. Many characters like some teachers only appear once or twice, some don't even speak, like Draco, who only appears in a moment or another just to say that he still exists. I just hope they don't mess with the sixth book, because it is by far one of my favourites (along with Prisioner of Azkaban and The Goblet of Fire).
