Fruits Basket vol. 21

I've just read Furuba's 21st volume and I couldn't help but cry. Yes, cry while reading the sad story of Akito. No matter what people say, maybe I'm like Tohru... after knowing her side of the story I started to cry silently, holding my tears when Akito's emotions became clear to me.
Like Hatori said, everyone in the Sohma family is cursed and deserves pity... even Akito... even her mother, Ren, although I believe Ren is mentally disturbed naturally. I can't help but cry whenever a sad part of Akito's, Yuki's or Hatori's past is revealed chapter by chapter. Rin's story also touched me.
Fruits Basket is a really good mangá. Makes me reconsider how different people are and how plain words can hurt some people more than any physical injury. Remember, words are strong, so we should always think before saying something.
