I just had the idea considering how in Hetalia fandom Yao is still worrying about Kiku's well being, even after so many years. I think he looked like that when he saw what happened to Japan.
Apologies in advance in case this pic offends anyone, it wasn't my intention and I myself am worried and sympathetic to what is happening in Japan.
I think many people are like Yao, hoping that everything will calm down and that their friends and families in Japan are ok. This drawing was more to show Yao's worry for Kiku's safety as humans and family members, not as countries.
I drew him taking care of a baby panda when he saw what happened.
