Tips for cosplay wigs/contacts from a fanartist [APH special edition!]

Continuing the "How to choose wigs and contacts" issue, a very nice way to choose the color of wig/eye for character of Hetalia is "Do people from that country actually have that hair/eye color naturally?" Most characters of this fandom are personifications of a stereotype/typical citizen Hidekaz identified from a certain country, so it's good to have in mind that Russians don't have silver/white hair and Chinese/Japanese/Korean people don't have light brown hair nor golden/purplish eyes. Of course, some characters have very strong characteristical colors, like Prussia whose eyes are red and hair is grey/silverish, or Russia's purplish eyes. In those cases in order to remain in character it would be better to chose those colors rather than try to go for the "what is the natural color of people from that country".
But let's face it: golden/light brown eyed China is weird, Russia with any haircolor that is not faint dirty blond looks like Prussia and DAMN, Sealand's hair is not YELLOW, it's blond! Remember my previous post about wigs too! You are using illustrations for reference, so you have to keep in mind all those tips I've told you on that previous post too!
